I'll be (barring acts of God and unforeseen circumstances) attending this year again. Instead of with my husband (the tall guy), I'll be with my girlfriend. We're there for both weekends and I'll check back on the forums after I land later this week (2 more days!!!!).

Hey Kevin - have you decided on a date yet? The more we delay setting a date the more unlikely it is that folks from outlying areas like nagoya will be able to show up.

My vote is for the 5th as I don't arrive in Japan until the 1st of April

Forecasts are citing this coming weekend as prime, although the "height" is predicted for April 1, which is between the two weekends in question. Mid week party? LOL Either way, good times, good times.

My take is spray paint and a bed sheet cheap and easy to see maybe go to D2 and grab two cheap wooden sticks in the Hardware section and drive em in with Sams head.

As for the BBQ I will bring it and hope for the best someone wanna spring for meat? shaved meat at the grocery store BYO meat I will have a fire extinguisher as well seriously

There is a definite need of a large sign, perhaps some flashing lights, or maybe a fireworks display or smoke signal.

I can see myself wandering the park for hours all the while my beer growing warm.

I'm also interested in a phallus-viewing trip if a group is getting together.

So the spot I picked is the same, but until we have tarps on the ground we can't be certain where our spot will be. But it will be roughly the same area as before.

Im also going to suggest heading to The Hub in Shibuya closest to yoyogi park. We went there lasst time when it started to rain, so if weather starts to suck we'll probably head there.

I bought some fabric and a can of spray paint today at tokyuhands. Hopefully that will do for signage.
