Should I Twitter?

Postby tokyocooney on Sun Jul 05, 2009 6:39 am

I am basically of the opinion that twitter is Evil and making our society stupider. However I keep having this nagging feeling that I ought to be using it. Simply because it exists. Im curious what you folks think. Should I bother or is it better I just spend my time working on my videos.

What to do? What to do?

Do it! Do it now! Twitter already!
Uhem...
Twitter Facebook Youtube we all already lost our soul in the internet - doesent matter if theres a site more or less youre signed on -youre already a worcaholic! ;) Get a energy drink more a day and you can handle it easily ;p

ps:Maybe i was a bit unclear-as long as you have fun in what you do-then why not. And as long it doesent affect ur healthiness or your sleep-why not.
You can use it for like quick informations about whats happening in Tokyo right now or when you see something interesting and other people should experience it too. Or show quick Photos of something interesting.
I found that interesting when i visited some twitter pages.

Maybe youll find something else you want to tell on twitter -just as i said when having fun -just do it. If it is just annoying then do not use it.
People will follow you anyway. When i saw correctly you already have a lot of followers even your Twitter site has nothing on it

I don't really know because I'm not you, but it seems like you have enough stuff happening on the internet, Twitter would seem like overkill to me. I think a daily or weekly blog is more enjoyable as a reader than small exerpts of text. I would concentrate your efforts on your vlog.

I dunno, man. I don't see much value to "micro-blogging" aside from how we've seen in used in situations like Iran. For the most part, though, it's just people thinking they have little tidbits of info that others want to know. I'd rather see more well-thought out and coherent (well as coherent as you can get, Kev), less frequent blogs posts, than rapid fire "witticisms".

Go for it!

I know, I made that evil decision to join twitter. I think it is great for promotion and getting people to your site, but it is not for everyone. I joined for my blog a couple of months ago (my twitter is survivingok) and people just out of no where follow my twitter account. Twitter is A LOT easier and takes up less time than facebook, so Kevin you'll be fine! It is very flexible and you can update via texting. It seems like every celebrity and company uses it. Anyway, go for it!
